AIBD affiliation badge available on Houzz
Houzz has partnered with some of the industry’s leading trade associations, charities and academic institutions to launch a new affiliation badge program. If you are a building, remodeling or design professional on Houzz, you can now add badges to your profile! Showcase your affiliations, including the schools you’ve attended, the local and national associations through which you receive ongoing professional training, and the nonprofits you support.
Let clients know your professional and educational affiliations by adding a badge to your Houzz profile.
Step 1: In the text box, type the name of the organization. For example, to search for the American Institute of Building Design, type “AIBD.” A drop-down menu will appear with American Institute of Building Design and other relevant organizations.
Step 2: Click the organization you want, then click Add. Repeat to add another.
Step 4: When you’re done, be sure to scroll to the bottom of the page and click Update.
The badges will appear on your profile page, right below any Best of Houzz badges.
“Houzz has transformed the home remodeling and design industry by connecting people with an incredibly diverse group of home improvement professionals, brands and industry organizations, from the hyper-local, to the national and even global,” said Liza Hausman, VP of Community, Houzz. “Houzz Affiliation Badges enhance this ecosystem by providing a way for industry organizations and schools, as well as their members, to more deeply engage and educate the Houzz community and build their brands.”
