…NCBDC seeks volunteer examiners.

The NCBDC Board of Examiners host their monthly conference call meeting today. The primary agenda items include the final approval and launching of a campaign to enlist new and additional examiners. Later this week, an email will be sent to all active CPBDs in good standing inviting them to apply for consideration on the Board. In addition to being and active CPBD, at least one year of certification is required.

Also on the agenda is a presentation by ExamSoft, an electronic exam delivery system. Originally created to deliver the Bar Exams, ExamSoft has designed a proposal specifically for NCBDC’s needs. If the Board of Examiners accept the proposal, the system will also be utilized for offering NCBDC candidates the opportunity to take “practice” exams at their leisure and AIBD will be able to design a testing system for offering continuing education credits for its recorded online educational programs.

Steve Allen Shard, AIBD (retired) has announced the release of his new book, Practical Home Planning for the Twenty-First Century—New Expanded Edition.

This is the second book that Steve has published in the past year. Last year at IBS, he released a Condensed Edition of the same book.
