…Holiday Office Hours
The AIBD office will be closed from noon ET on Tuesday, December 31st through 9:00 am on Thursday, January 2nd. But our answering machines work 24/7.
On those days that the office is open this week, our front desk receptionist and our Executive Director Steve Mickley will be the only ones answering the phones and monitoring email. Please be patient as we work hard to make sure to make contact with everyone trying to reach us this week.

The AIBD Northeast Society’s “December 5th” meeting is now scheduled for Thursday January 23rd at the Library Restaurant in Portsmouth, NH. DOWNLOAD the flyer for information. …AIBD NC honors Pitt student.
SOURCE: Reflector.com – The N.C. Society of the American Institute of Building Design presented an award to recent Pitt Community College architectural technology graduate Sara Baker.
During the society’s quarterly meeting in Lexington, the organization announced that Baker had been selected to receive the Gold Award in the Student Project category of the inaugural North Carolina’s Finest in Residential Design Competition.
“I was actually quite surprised,” Baker said of her award. “I thought I’d just
turn it in for fun and simply be excited about being a student member of the
American Institute of Building Design, which came as part of the competition
