Existing Members…

…with such talented and passionate members, it only makes sense that more is better, and that a larger membership means a richer network of talent and ideas for all of our members to take advantage of. So taking a cue from the old adage that “two heads are better than one” AIBD is reaching out to its member base and set forth a lofty goal – gain 100 new Professional members between July 1, 2013 and June 30, 2014. So far, we are at 33 (Two more since last week). To reach this goal, we need 67 members to say, “I commit” to recruiting one new member between now and June 30th. Are you in?

Every year, the awards program, sponsored by Hanley Wood’s ePlans, Concrete Décor magazine and File Genius, recognizes good design in custom homes, builder’s models, pre-designed stock plans, remodeling, sustainability, and working drawings.

AIBD Annual Design Competition

For more than 50 years the AIBD has been hosting a “Members Only” design competition with various categories ranging from custom homes, renovations, sustainable home plans, to working drawings and more. If you’re an AIBD Professional Member, the AIBD Annual Design Competition is the leading competition for you.

House Plan Marketing Awards

Making its debut in 2014, ARDA introduces a competition dedicated to those specializing in the design and marketing of pre-drawn (stock) house plans. Decorative Concrete Awards

Now in its third year, this competition has honored the artistic use of exposed concrete in the interior and exterior, in residential and commercial, and in kitchens and baths. All designers, artisans, and suppliers are invited to enter the Decorative Concrete Awards, regardless of any association affiliation.

Accessible Living Awards

New in 2013, a major competition that recognizes the creativity, aesthetics and functionality of Universal, Visit-ability and Aging in Place design. Everyone in the industry is invited to enter your imaginative solutions and ideas into the Assessable Living Awards.
