AIBD launches PreCon Index
Volunteer to be a part of the AIBD’s effort to track and report the future health of America’s residential and light commercial construction industries. Who better to report on how construction will be six months from now than those who have those buildings “on the boards” today? Those participating in the PreCon Index (short for Pre-construction Index), will be asked to provide their name, email address and answer a dozen survey questions about their design contracts of last quarter compared to the quarter before? The survey will be launched shortly after the close of each quarter.

The information gathered in the survey will, over time, be used to create AIBD’s version of an economic forecast. The PreCon Index (PCi) will be distributed quarterly to other agencies within our industry who are tracking construction trends and will be posted on the AIBD website for public viewing. AIBD will keep your information confidential, except for comments provided in the box at the end. The comments box is intended to be our way of compiling quotes to be included in our PCi blog posts and press releases. It would be our pleasure to mention you in our press releases if you provide us with a relevant quote.
